I know it's been a few days. I wanted to update on what's been going on.
A few days after my last Oncology appointment I notice yet another lump in my stomach. Yes, it completely stressed me out. I mean, on the light side, It can't be worse than cancer.  All I knew is that, this lump (Right side of stomach directly beside belly button) is the size of a golf ball if not a little larger. I KNOW (99% sure) it's not intestinal (that seems to be working fine). I think it is related to my stomach because twice now it has made me pass out, three times of making me vomit (the last time I fought it back and wouldn't let it).
The first time, It was around 3 pm, my stomach started hurting (needed to #2) so I barely made it to the bathroom due to the excruciating pain I was in, sat down, did my business, but at the "end' it was a sharp knife stabbing pain and I passed out, woke up and vomited).
The Second time was the next day, around 9 am before I ate (I got extreme painful hunger pangs, got nauseous, threw up and passed out from the pain as I was trying to yell for my husband) When I woke (just a few seconds really) I ate something and I was fine the rest of the day. Anytime I thought I was going to get hungry, I ate something hoping to prevent a re-occurrence. Â
The third time, similar to the second time (the next day) it was around 11:30 (lunch time) I started getting hungry, (ate a snack I kept in my purse) it didn't help, started to get nauseous, nearly threw up, Almost passed out, but prevented that also by trying to do breathing exercises. As soon as my stomach calmed down I took a pain pill, 20 minutes later I was fine.Â
Each time this has happened I was in Excruciating pain in the area of that lump. My stomach felt like something was stuck in it. Â So, we decided it was time to see the Doctor.
Went to my local Doctor a couple days ago (12-8-25) He suggested we get another CT scan. So, yesterday I had another CT scan. Now I am awaiting the results impatiently. The Doctor is guessing maybe a Hernia. From what I have researched I have to agree. We shall find out.Â
Before you wonder.. NO. I have been on Bed or "lazy boy" rest. Hubby does everything, I don't life a finger and haven't since the day I came home from the surgery. This was NOT something I did to myself.
Anyway I will update as soon as I get results and find out what this means going forward.
