SSA UPDATE:
ONE week later, no call.
We go back up to the SSA office today.  Well, since the "PEOPLE" decided to fire thousands of Non essential Government workers, our small town SSA office got cut from 12 workers to 3. 3 workers to work hundreds of cases by themselves.  She decided to tell me that, my file was never looked at, not yet. SO. Sad to say this, but we pulled the Cancer card. We told her about the whole thing and she says "oh my, yes we need to get this at the top of the list". I feel bad because everyone there has a good reason to be there, I hated having to jump the line. But we can't afford to eat, and hubby's income also made it so we didn't qualify for food stamps either. Oh, wait, they sent up $18 for food for December. LMAO.. Yea, that helped a LOT. NOT.  anyway. She got it going and said I would get a phone call on January 18th. Which I did receive the phone call, did the interview and was told. You should get a letter in a week or two.
we shall see.....
Chemo Side effect Update:
Oh, before I start on that Below are some photo's me with my new wig. Our oncology unit offers Cancer/Chemo patients a free wig provided by Gynca.org. Amazing place, amazing people. I will be looking into volunteering some of my time with them, even though they are 2 hrs away. I had such a great experience with them.
Side effects: Well, same side effects as last week, they just seem to get a bit milder as time goes by. Not much to report on though, my daily habits are still the same. My Hubby (Travis) won't let me do anything around the house. He is doing it all. I can see that it makes him feel good to take care of everything. Before this I was way too independant. We are learning to have a much closer relationship. I finally felt good enough to at the least, help out with dinner. So for the first time in years, we made dinner together. It was nice.
LUMP Update:
Gen doc has us go get a CT without contrast. They send the results to my oncologist, but the results read that they couldn't see anything wrong. assumed it was inflamation.
This is me in my new wig. I look like I did at 40. Amazing. I had less wrinkles back then though.
