March 5th,Â
Well, last month I didn't do a very good job at keeping my thoughts wrote down. That Chemo #2 treatment really kicked me in the behind and left me sleeping a lot, or just laying around watching Tv a lot.
I have One week plus a couple days before Chemo #4 (March 10th). We are hoping it will be a smooth one, like the last one. We need to a make a Sams Club run, spend what little money we have on getting some essentials stocked up. Chemo #5 will be (March 31st)
I am halfway through my chemo. (I hope it stays that way.)Â I am impatiently / patiently waiting to hear back from the Doctor about the CT scans. Trying not to freak out over the "Worst case scenario" thoughts that go through my head.
I have to tell you this though. a week before chemo #3 My Grandkids (from my eldest son) sent hand written letters in sealed envelopes for me to read "ON chemo day only". It was the sweetest thing I had ever seen or read. The nurses thought I was having an issue, I remember, lol, I said 'NO, my babies wrote me letters and they were so sweet I couldn't help but cry happy tears'.  They were so encouraging it was so darned adorable.  So that is why I worked so hard to get a copy of the books I had written about them, where they are the main characters of the books. I was going to wait until their birthdays to give them out, but I couldn't wait.Â
They came by to visit yesterday and I gave them their books. You should have seen their faces, they were so excited. You can check the books out here; The post under "I'm an Author" here on the blog.Â
The other two grandchildren came to visit me last sunday along with my 3rd child that goes by Various / They. I hadn't seen him/them since Christmas. It was good to catch up. One of the reason's I am writing this blog and why I will be writing my autobiography is because THEY wanted something to remember me by, and writing a story about THEM wouldn't work.. Long story. They wanted to be able to connect to me by getting to know ME better. So here we are.Â
Anyway, I gave the other two grandchildren their books last sunday. They made their dad read them to them right there. They left with huge smiles on their faces and when I asked if they would like more books, well, they excitedly said YES..
So if all goes well with the next few Chemo treatments I will have time to hopefully punch out some new books.Â
I will try to write more everyday but no guarnatee's. If I keep feeling this well, I will be trying to take a couple days to clean my house. My floors haven't been mopped since December (NO JUDGING) hubby can only do so much and I havne't been able to help yet.
Blessings to you allÂ
