Oh, back to the SSA office Fiasco
Two weeks later, no money. So, we went back to the SSA office today and talked to the lady again. She says."OH, I'm sorry, I didn't see that you were still married. So NO, you can't get SSI, your husbands disability goes over the allowed $1,200 a month allotment for a married couple."
SIDE BAR: It went over by about $20.. When Hubby gets done paying for his Medicare and other medical costs, we have a total of $400 to live on. That's before bills come out, before groceries, before gas in the vehicle, before vehicle insurance, phone etc... Get my drift.
Well then she goes; "OH, I see that you have earned your credits to switch over to Full disability". Okay, lets get that paperwork started. "They will call you in a day or two for the interview.
Update on Chemo Side effects:
The 7th (Wednesday) I slept ok, not great the night of the first Chemo, but it was not very helpful. Wednesday morning I understood right away how much the Steroids were keeping me upright. I was very dizzy still when I got up out of bed, I had a headache, still light headed, extreme tired (exhaustion) and very unstable when I walked. Very weak.. I ended up just laying around all day watching Tv and Tik tok on my tablet.
The 8th (Thursday) I woke up with a headache again, mino leg pain, still dizzy, I felt a little more stable on my feet but still not trusting it. Constipation was horrible. Drank a lot of liquids to keep myself from getting dehydrated. We found this stuff called Relyte by Redmonds. Works amazing. No changes in my taste buds, still have all my hair (lol) I'm thinking I am going to be able to do this.
